Iron age: Sibillini National Park Old's Ropeway

Iron age - Sibillini National Park's old ropeway
Built in 1974 and remained in operation until 1994 the "Mount Bove ropeway" still stands out on the crest of Mt. Bove.
A large, solitary, steel pylon emerges from the rocky wall, clinging desperately against the inertia of time and the fury of the atmospheric elements.
A steel cable, the only survivor of the decline of time, stretches softly along the entire "Bove Valley".
Rock and steel.Who shatters and who folds but both born to challenge eternity.
 Stay strong.
